The BIZ operates nearly identically to every box that we coach. Clients can excel while investing “sweat equity” and eventually add value to become part of The BIZ Team.
Today is the first of three posts spotlighting people who’ve made the jump from client to client/coach.
I met Chris Thorndike 3 ½ years ago on the phone. Back then, to fill seminars, I took every phone call and enrolled every person.
(God, that was a lot of work.)
To be honest, Chris didn’t impress me at the seminar, but I do remember him asking questions of me at nearly every break. Then he’d call and ask questions in the following months and he’s lucky he did.
See, back then, his box was in the early stages of infancy. To add to it, Chris and his brother Chip had the idea that they were struggling because they were “on the wrong side of town” and their box was small (or as I liked to call it, a “tiny shit box”).
Chris was doing less than $3K a month in gross business.
Looking back, it seems to me like it all went by quickly. He grew his box to over $34K a month and is now consistently in the top 5 boxes on the Leaderboard.
Not bad for a tiny shit box!
Now, for most, that would be the fun part…the growing of the business.
But the thing I’m most proud of is the growing of the man.
To change his business, Chris has had to overcome nearly EVERY obstacle any business has. Poor location, sucky physical space, arguments with his partner (his bro, btw), and being young. He overcame them by mastering what The BIZ coaches, in addition to finding his own resources.
Chris took all my coaching and even a “come-to-Jesus” meeting…along with some good ol’ fashion prodding to push through when others would have folded.
That’s the true test of being a man, being a leader… when all forces conspire to keep you down, how hard do you fight back?
So, Chris is now a contributor to The BIZ: Raise Your Game site and the LAUNCHGASM module. In addition, Chris will be available to be hired as a Coach. We’ll make his SME page available shortly.
So, if you’d like to learn from someone who not only did NOT fold but excelled, be sure to reach out to him.
